2 Day Co-op Mon AM & Wed Enrichment

Where kitchen adventures start! Our Sprouts classes nurture curiosity, independence, and kitchen confidence for our youngest chefs. Each week brings hands-on activities, simple recipes, and plenty of sensory exploration—helping kids discover where their food comes from, practice kitchen safety, and build lifelong skills. Expect joy, messes, and lots of “I made it myself!” moments.

 

Harvesters dive deeper into real cooking skills, teamwork, and food science. Kids learn to follow recipes, measure, mix, use kitchen tools safely, and explore food culture and history. Projects blend creativity and independence with a foundation in healthy habits, all through the lens of my Little Chefs, Big Skills curriculum.

 

Artisans tackle more complex recipes, expand their flavor palette, and experiment with culinary techniques from around the world. These classes encourage leadership, critical thinking, and hands-on collaboration. Teens start to mentor, guide, and even help design class challenges—growing confidence both in and out of the kitchen.

Culinary Leaders is a half-day experience (AM or PM) for teens eager to take the reins—mastering advanced techniques, leading projects, and getting a taste of real-world food entrepreneurship. Teens will have opportunities to plan, cook, mentor younger chefs, and even sell at MIA events as they develop the skills for future leadership.

 

Enrichment Wednesdays: The Heartbeat of Our Community

Wednesday is when the magic happens outside the kitchen—think local field trips, culture days, hands-on science, service projects, and more.
You can join just for Wednesdays (space permitting), but most families bundle with Monday for the full 2-day co-op experience.
